Best Roasting Pan

Are the traditional black metal roasting pans better than a stainless steel one ? I have a new s/steel one but it doesn't seem to cook as good as my old black one. Seems to be slower, somehow ?? Maybe something to do with radiated heat or something ?

Can't say I notice much difference between my black metal one and my glass one. Glass one a bit easier to clean.

I prefer the black enamel ones. I had a stainless steel one and it seemed to be very very slow in comparison. I gave it away and went back to the black one.

Yes black will cook faster and better than stainless!
