to equal a cup of self raising flour? Have a recipe here that uses self raising flour and i dont have any.

mrs caveman,opinions vary as to the ratio of baking powder to flour. Some say 1 tsp to 1 cup, while others say 2 tsp or somewhere in between so you choose but if you're making scones or anything that you want to be light and fluffy, and/or well-risen (especially scones or similar) then I suggest that you use 2 tsp baking powder to 1 cup flour.

depends what you are making, as to the ratio, eg biccies or slices, 1 tsp per 1 cup flour, sponge or cakes 1 &1/2-2tsps. agree with 245sam
