I'm looking for a recipe for something that will go nice with a kumara and bacon frittata, preferably something cheap (aka no meat), tasty and hot. Any ideas? Thanks :)

Initial thought was a nice green salad but that's cold :-) How about a side of creamed spinach with parmesan cheese or creamy mushrooms on the side or grilled/stuffed mushrooms or a stuffed capsicum?

Green mixed salad. If hot then some cooked greens like pak choi, bok choi, wong bok, spinach, silverbeet, leeks ...

Frittata is not usually a main course - more often it is a dish by itself. this means you have plenty of options open to you. A fresh vegetable soup or a delicious green salad with vinaigrette or a vegetable course with a couple, or three, of wonderfully cooked, low starch vegetables. You can decide where to slot in the frittata.
