I threw them in the skip bin.... should i retrieve them or leave them ?

If you can't use them either donate them to a charity shop or put them out on the street with " Free - help yourself " sign and they will probably disappear very quickly.

DON'T they're like hens teeth to buy, steal or borrow. Worth money. Wissh you were in ChCh, we tried to get some this week to teach students bottling etc & they sell for $8 each.

Don't retrieve them if you have "thrown" them - they will have cracks and chips off the edges and crack when boiled. Too late now!

I've been using my grandmother's collection for bottling our bumper crop of tomatoes and she was tickled pink that they were getting used. Great things!

Obviously i wont retrieve the jars i threw in as they will be buried but i have plucked a few from the top that i just placed in a big bin....
