Any suggestions on food to serve about 15 people? Thinking along the lines of a buffet . TIA Mrs Botim.

Wow, botim, where do we start ? Can you give us some idea of what kind of occasion this will be i. e. special birthday/anniversary/ family reunion or simply an informal " get together ", also whether you will have any help with the preparation and what type of dish you like to cook and/or are good at making.
I usually say keep the food simple and seasonal, make sure there is plenty of it and don't worry about impressing anybody.

A buffet is always a great idea. i take it that you will be doing this soon? if so, you could do some good size dishes such as beef stroganoff or a lamb curry with rices and various other dishes to compliment. We do have a wettings/parties and gatherings thread with a heap of ideas.
