Does anyone know if you can still buy Musto, used for pickle making? If not what else can I use?

no you cant unfortunately. I haven't seen it around for some years, its a nusiance as it made pickle making easy. This is what I use for cauliflower pickle or chowchow/piccalili. ½ cup flour, 2½ -3Tbsp mustard, 1½ dessertspoons tumeric, ¼tsp cayenne pepper and enough vinegar to mix to a paste. You can add sugar to the mix also if you haven't already got it in the pickle/

The last lot I got was 10 years ago. Cook 2 & 1/2kg of mixed vegetables, in 2 liters of water and 250 grams of plain salt. strain well, add 4 cups of vinegar 3 cups of sugar, bring to the boil thicken with 1 cup of flour 1 Tbsp of dry mustard 1 Tbsp of curry powder, 1Tbsp of turmeric mixed with 1 cup of vinegar cook for 5 minutes
