Relish. Pickles etc

We are wanting to start making relishes, pickles for a fair in November. Is it too early and are there any secrets to keep them fresh. Any recipes would be appreciated. Thanks

Make sure your jars are sterilized properly and once you have bottled them store in a dark cool place. Should be ok for November.
