i reckon the best eggs benedict in chch is from the bohemian cafe in oxford tce followed very very closely by "under the red veranda" in worchester st.

Try the Castle Rock Cafe, 21 Mary Muller Drive, Heathcote. It is the middle of an industrial estate ... but don't let the location out you off. The best Eggs Benny I've had in Chch by miles ... and I'm an ex-cafe manager myself & pretty critical when paying for food!

Cahoots in Greytown! Janets eggs benny is to die for. You can even just have a half with one egg and you get real ham off the bone..... none of this plastic bacon in the classy establishment. Beautiful!!!!!

I think you'll be impressed! Freshly wilted spinach which had definitely never seen a freezer, crispy bacon, perfectly poached eggs, delicious home-made hollandaise & fantastic ciabatta bread. The menu offered potato cakes but they were happy to serve it to us on bread as apparently the potato cakes are huge!
