Can I make fondant lego bricks and

i wouldnt freeze them, but if you make them with gum paste then they will solidify and keep

Where do I get gum paste from and can you colour it ?

Goldings Handcrafts have it in Wellington - there used to be a shop down an alley off high street in lower hutt that sold cake decorating bits and pieces - not sure if it is still there or not.
Yes you can colour it and its probably not particularly edible - paste sets quite hard

There is a cake place in the plaza I shall try there - they don't have to be edible - it's more for looks than anything.

the white chocolate from countdown (there own brand) was cheap as and made quite a few so didnt work out very expensive.The problem I had with fondant is it wouldnt come out of the mould nicely and in shape and if I froze it in the mould it went very sticky when it defrosted

I use the same white chocolate LOL

I will be experimenting A LOT over this weekend !
