My daughter got an Avalanche 'ice shaving' machine for Christmas.Can someone please recommend what syrups to use for flavouring and where to buy them (Wellington).

You could make your own. Simply reduce sweetened fruit juice by simmering then freeze. The adult version involves vodka, jars and clean dry seasonal fruit. Easy, much tastier and way cheaper than store bought.

Or if you have a magic bullet or food processor or stick blender just puree some fresh fruit (berries would be great) and icing sugar if you had to make it sweeter but canned fruit is usually sweet enough.

Bought some soda stream syrup today, very successful thank you (that stuff's not cheap, is it, though I expect it should last quite a while.)
