Had a wonderful Porkchop at Rocket, a Restaurant in Whakatane, the dish was served on top of diced root veges and topped with a cheese type green vege mash and a wonderful sweet type sauce with a cumin taste to it. I was wondering if anyone knew the recipe for the sauce?

not sure about the one you describe, but this one is nice. my dad used to make it - it's actually a microwave one though that cooks with the chops.
chopped onion 1 tsp butter 2 tbsp brown sugar 1/2 c tomato sauce 2 tbsp red vinegar lea&perrins sauce
cook onion and butter on high 3 mins. add brown sugar, tomato sauce, vinegar, lea&perrins, cook on medium 5 mins. Pour on chops, cook on high 5 mins each side.
I have actually made this conventionally in a fry pan.
