Toffee Sauce with cream in

can that be made ahead of time and heated up... Just wonder if the cream would curdle... or perhaps best to just serve up cold

The sauce from my sticky date pudding is a toffee sauce using cream. I often make the puddings and freeze with the sauce then microwave to reheat, and have never had a problem with curdling. If you want my recipe the link is below but I'm sure most such recipes would behave the same. :-)
