I dont have a pre made one.. does anyone know of a recipe I can make from scratch to have with pasta?

Heat a little olive oil, add a finely diced onion and a clove or two of garlic. Saute on low heat until onion cooked but not browned. Add 2 400 g tins peeled tomatos, a little tomato paste and a pinch of sugar. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, add salt if you wish. I finish with some chopped flatleaf parsley and I add chilli with the onion/garlic. Can also brown some bacon pieces and add along with the juices from the pan. Quick and easy!
Meant to add...squish the tomatos through your hands or mash with a potato masher.
