I have a roast pork i would like to try in the crockpot. Anyone done one or is it better to just roast it in the oven?

I do this all the time, much prefer it to roasting it in the oven. Just put your pork in the crockpot and cook for 3-4 hours on high or 6-7 hours on low, I usually use a trivet in the base of my crockpot. If you like crackling, remove the scored skin and rub with oil and salt and just cook under the grill.

pom4, I haven't personally cooked a roast of pork in the crockpot - there's only the two of us and when we do have a big roast such as pork we do it in the covered barbecue BUT others have and do cook their pork roasts in the crockpot so to see how and what others have done have a look at:-

Pom4, you can use an inverted plate in the bottom of the pot, put your roast on top of it. No water, you can rub the roast with sage or other herbs if you want.
