Leek and potato soup does anyone have a nice recipe with bacon added?Many thanks

It was only a short month ago I began this thread and I still have about 10 leeks left in the garden. I worked out just how far up the green part I could go before the leaves were too stringy to be palatable. I used the rest of the tops to make vegetable stocks when I had no bones and added them to meat when I was making soup. I've had leeks every which way, but gently cooked in butter with lots of black pepper is my favourite. I can't wait to grow more.
