has anyone used a condensed soup as the flavouring for a potato bake? just wondering if you need to add milk to the soup, and does it thicken at all?
I have a can of chicken soup and just feel like being creative, lol

I've used chicken stock before. I'd say you'd need to water / milk down the soup a bit if it's condensed.

I would think you need to put about 1/2 to a whole can of milk/water with the soup. Yummy

I have used tomato soup in a potato bake type dish. Just layer dish with sliced potatoes, sliced onion and grated carrot or pumpkin. Season between layers. Stir 1/2 cup water through tin condensed tomato soup and pour over veges. Bake covered with baking paper @ 180C for about 45 mins - 1 hour. Remove paper for last 10 mins.
You can add any type of soup to this dish but it must be condensed.

I've used chicken or mushroom soup, similar to nauru's recipe but usualy use about 1/2 can of milk (rather than water) and put some cheese on top (or layer it with the other layers sometimes)
