I was watching English tv earlier in the week and they made a fruit spong in the microwave.
it had fruit (Grapes) in the bottom of the bowl (top of the sponge) mixed with honey.
Then they made the sponge in the foodprocessor with 4 oz butter and 4 oz brown sugar creamed together.
Once this was creamed the added 4 eggs and blended it in
Then there was self raising flour. Logic tells me 4oz
Can anyone confirm it is 4oz SR flour or some other measure.
it looks like a great easy winter pud with cusard or ice cream
