Make my chicken soup with chicken pieces or carcasses, 1/2c rice, seasoning, stock, grated carrot & chopped onion. Boil gently approx 1 hr. Sometimes need to add xtra water as soup thickens over night.
With your ingredients you would be better to make pumpkin soup & add tsp curry powder & either cream or milk at the end.

Any roast chicken carcass with a little meat still on it put into a big pot, cover with water with 1 onion chopped roughly 2 carrots sliced 3 sticks of celery sliced bunch of parsley, some thyme ( mixed herbs is fine 6 peppercorns salt 1 small bay leave ( optional) bring the boil scoop off any gunk from the top simmer for 4 hours on really low. This makes a good clear stock for any base, risotto, soups, sauces Cool by placing saucepan in a sink of cold water. Sieve and discard veges and bones, the remaining liquid measure into portions- date and label and put into the freezer.

I made this last night - the parsley. I chucked it in the crock pot this morning with onion, celery, and carrot and my partner said it was better than his mum's. Whoop
