Make a pizza. I spread pesto on a tortilla ( I don't like thick crusts), then a good handful or 2 of spinach leaves, and then my other toppings like onion, tomato, capsicum, mushrooms, smoked chicken or bacon/ham, and cheese. Very tasty.

Steam a large bunch of silverbeet and an onion sliced up then when cooked press and drain well stir in coconut cream this is delicious.

You can get rookworst from the super market by the salami and things, it is vacuum packed and shaped like a horseshoe, and mashed potato with silverbeet is good, my kids like it better than plain mashed potato

Layered in lasagne is good and hidden from picky teenage eaters as well.

cookessentials, May 30, 11:37pm
2 kumara, peeled and sliced
pumpkin, skinned and cut into cubes
4 leaves silverbeet, washed and sliced
2 courgettes, grated
1 large onion, sliced
75 grams feta cheese, cut into small cubes
½ cup water
1 teaspoons herb or chicken stock
2 teaspoons cornflour
1 tablespoon sour cream
ground black pepper
25 grams grated tasty cheddar cheese

Method

Pre-heat oven to 210°C.
Boil or steam the kumara and buttercup until almost tender. Remove from pot and put to one side.
Place the silverbeet and courgettes in the pot and cook a further 5 minutes.
Heat a little water in a non-stick pan and sauté the onion until tender. Remove from the heat and stir in the feta cheese.
Lightly grease an oven-proof dish and layer the buttercup, feta and onion mixture, silverbeet and courgettes and finish with the kumara slices.
Mix together the water, stock, cornflour, sour cream, and pepper. Pour over the vegetable layers.
Sprinkle the top with the grated cheddar cheese.
Bake at 210° C for 30 minutes.

I think that's a really great trick. And while I'm not a depleover I can tell you how I think people make a decision to leave or join a company. In my experience people leave because of their boss, and they stay because of their friends. It doesn't matter how good the company is, if your boss is a jerk then smart people are outta there. I think that your blogging Rowan shows what an open and attractive environment Trademe is, so maybe you are a great boss! But you haven't told us if Alan is, not in your ad or in the blog (or code). I think you want to be a bit more aggressive about telling people what a great boss the hiring manager is for these jobs. Sure NZ's biggest website is somewhat attractive, but NZ's biggest website with a boss who has promoted ten of the last ten people who've worked for him, or a boss or has a reputation for making sure his people are the best trained in the business. I think smart people start to want to meet someone like that. And smart people make decisions on where they work on who, not where.
