My 30 year old plus kitchen wizz has died, what is a good brand to get to replace it?

I'm interested too - my old Ralta food processor has died after 40+ years. I have a relatively new Kenwood Chef and a little mini chopper /stick blender but nothing chops up the grapefruit for marmalade quite like the old food processor. And marmalade time is looming! What's the latest and hardiest machine to get?

Yes i'm keen for recommendations too. Not great Briscoes reviews.

I’ve been looking for weeks for one. Lot of the new ones are smaller than I want. I saw a kambrook one with a big bowl at a op shop hardly used with heaps of blades, blender etc so grabbed it, my hands are all twisted now so I use it for heaps so far it’s been good, no complaints saved me spending hundreds. It has no pulse, only 3 speeds but I can live with that.

Well if you can afford it, go for a Magimix. They come in different sizes, and I brought mine back from the UK in 2005, and it's still going strong. And yes, you can buy them here.
