1.Preheat oven to 220C. 2.In a bowl combine flour, salt and eggs. Gradually add milk and water, whisking until you have a smooth batter. . 3.In the bottom of 10 muffin tins, place a little fat or oil and put in oven until very hot. 4.Remove and quickly pour in batter. . 5.Serve hot with roast beef and sauce.

1 cup Flour ½ tsp Salt 2 Eggs ½ cup Milk 3 Tbsp Water 2 Tbsp Oil, or fat Place fat in muffins tins and place in oven for 10 minutes. Add batter and cook for 20 minutes at 220.

According to Nigella Lawson this goes well with maple syrup or golden syrup piping hot out of the oven. I have been meaning to try it.

I just use a traditional Yorkshire pudding recipe (it doesn’t include water) but that’s delicious served as dessert - my son always has his served separately from his roast dinner so he can do this. I use coconut oil to cook it and has to be smoking hot to cook puff up when you pour in the batter.

I remember sometimes eating it with golden syrup when I was a child growing up in NE England. My Mum & Granny always made great yorkshire puddings.

That's just pancake mix without the golden syrup.
