Sweet chilli sauce recipe?

With no ginger. I have none and can't go get some today obviously and all the recipes on google have ginger :(

Does it matter if you omit it, or does anyone have a recipe without it? TIA.

Thank you but I have fresh chillies and way more to use up then 1/2 a tablespoon.

All Good! Found some ginger at the back of the cupboard that was salvageable.
