Adding a teaspoonful when making samosas is a treat. Using chutney as a marinade or glaze by adding a little water and whizzing it in the bullet. Nice when cooked with an omelette. Mini pastry tarts with blue cheese and walnuts. Cheese ham and chutney toasties. Mixed with rice and cheese baked in tomato case. Hollowed out apples baked with additional sultanas and served with hot custard and vanilla icecream for a savoury sweet dish to end a roast meat meal. Sweet savoury pizza sauce for meat lovers pizza or roast pumpkin feta. My own home made apple fejoa chutney made into a sauce and used for my tofu strips marinade roasted until sticky and caramelized sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Baked ham or roast pork or chicken nibbles. Gifts, neighbour welcome hampers, picnic baskets.

I have a load of different chutneys in my cupboard. Other than the usual cheese, meat etc how do others use theirs? Looking for some different ideas if anyone would like to share.

Here's a few from Mr Google :
Have it on a sandwich – add it to chicken salad Serve it alongside a cheese, and-or preserved, cured meat platter Mix it into ground beef or pork and use for meatloaf or sausage roll filling Serve it on the side of a meat pie or and empanada Eat it with any kind of cooked pork dish (e.g. chops, tenderloin, ham, etc.) Serve it with grilled sausages Serve it with roasted chicken or turkey Serve it with pate Warm goat cheese or brie, pour chutney over it and serve Mix it with Greek yogurt to make a dip Puree it and glaze meat, roasted sweet potatoes, butternut squash, etc. Puree it and use as a dipping sauce for egg rolls, samosa, any fried food! Puree it and add it to salad dressing Serve it with a grilled cheese sandwich Serve it on the side of Indian dishes like curry Serve it on a burger, especially a cheese or veggie burger

Thank for those. I do most of those. Looking for uses in cooking/baking etc, other than curry.

The only baking I can think of using savoury chutneys would be some type of scone, bread or pastry scroll, or maybe a dollop in the middle of a savoury muffin.
You've probably already used them as pizza sauces.

When making chutney etc I line up all unused chutney/pickle jars on the front of pantry shelf so I see it lol. To use up add a spoonful to casseroles, gravy, slow cooker sauces, b&e pie, curries, and spread on scone dough or pastry roll ups, split saus spread it on before filling with mashed potato and grated cheese, soon uses up forgotten jars so you don't waste it.
