Storing Long Life Cream

Sorry not so much a recipe but if long life cream has been refrigerated but unopened, can you then take it out and store it in the pantry again? Or does it have to stay in the fridge once it is cold?

I think it will be fine to put back in the cupboard.

It stays on the supermarket shelves, unfridgerated.

How good is it to use? taste wise? always wondered if ok when caught short.

If you like to cook things with a creamy component it's a good back up to have available.

I use it instead of fresh cream as I think it has a better taste

I buy it because it keeps well . I used to find a part jar of what 'used to be fresh cream' lurking in the back of the fridge!

I do use it most of the time but it used to be just on the shelf at my supermarket, now its in the chiller. Can it be stored out of the fridge once its been chilled?. I didnt think you could re-shelve it, if it had been chilled. Hope that makes sense
