I Have some Pedro's lamb with potato in the fridge. It is about 6 days old.
It is a shame to throw it out. How could i make it safe to eat?

I'll probably just throw it out but food is expensive and we should know how to conserve it? So I was wondering if it could be used in a well cooked soup?

Who's Pedro? Taste it, if it tastes funny, and you fall violently ill, it has gone off!
I would throw it out after 6 days, before that even.

Pedros is take away cooked lamb and potatoes. Your probably right about throwing it away after 6 days. I did eat some. Usually if meat is off you will involuntarily open your mouth and spit it out (all though already too late).
I used to like "Where the Wild Men Are". On one ocasion the "Wild man" stopped for some road kill and explained the degrees of rottenness and said it would be o.k with a good cook.

I wouldn't eat lamb I had cooked myself, after 3 days. And I wouldn't keep any take out longer than 24 hours.
