Brownies... . Ingredients • 1 cup unsweetened apple purée/sauce • 1/3 cup cocoa • 3/4 cup self-raising flour • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda • 1/2 cup sugar • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips • 3/4 cup (70g) walnuts, chopped Preheat the oven to 175°C and lightly spray or oil a 20x20cm baking dish.
Place apple purée in a medium-sized bowl. Sift in the cocoa, flour and baking soda. Add the sugar and salt and mix until just combined. Do not over-mix as this will toughen the brownies. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and the walnuts. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake for around 25-30 minutes or until the centre feels set and fudgy when a skewer is inserted.
Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before turning out. Cool completely before slicing into squares. If desired, dust with sifted icing sugar before serving.

This is delicious from chelsea. . have made it heaps and never lasts long! ! Coconut Rough Slices Ingredients For the chocolate rough: 1 ½ cups self raising flour 1 cup Chelsea White Sugar 1 ½ cups coconut 3 tablespoons cocoa 200 g butter, melted
For the chocolate icing: 1 cup Chelsea Rich Chocolate Icing Sugar 1 knob of softened butter (approx. 10g) 1 ½ tablespoons hot water (approx. ) Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Spray a 20 x 30 cm sponge roll tin with non stick baking spray.
Mix all the chocolate rough ingredients in a large bowl. Press into the prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes. Cool in the tin while you make the icing.
Icing: Measure Chelsea Rich Chocolate Icing Sugar into a bowl, add in butter and hot water, mix well until smooth. Spread over the chocolate rough while still warm in the tin. Icing should spread easily; if too thick add a little more hot water to allow it to spread well. Sprinkle over the coconut and cut into squares, leave to completely set and go cold in the tin before removing. Store in an airtight container.
Afgans - Edmonds cookbook 200g butter. 75g sugar - cream. Add 175g flour, 25g cocoa and lastly 50g cornflakes. Put spoonfuls on greased tray. Bake 15 mins at 180 degrees.
