I used to make my own with good quality cocoa, milk powder and icing sugar. Its the one the Destitute Gourmet makes.

I too have used Destitute Gourmet Sophie's recipe but reduced the amount of icing sugar because we found the recipe as in Sophie's book to be too sweet.Provided that gluten free icing sugar is used, that recipe is GF.:-))

Avalanche - in white tin with blue writing is labelled gluten free. It's quite strong too.I don't use half as much as they suggest.

One very level teaspoon of cocoa to two teaspoons of normal sugar. This is all I make. We also make our milkshakes in the blender this way. I only use Nestle cocoa, it is strong yet chocolatey.

Homebrand drinking chocolate was gluten free last time I bought it. Always pays to check the label each time you buy something because sometimes they change the ingredients in the products.

Nesquik is too (or the chocolate one is at least), also, "Evil Child" hot chocolate goes down extra well here.
