Ok my first time at cooking dark choc mud cake - was in the oven for the recommended length of time, skewer came out clear. How do you know whether its cooked or raw! haha - its quite moist - is it supposed to be that way!

If it's come out clear, as in choc mix not sticking to the skewer then yup, it's cooked!

Yes, a true chocolate mud cake is meant to be quite moist.
