Get used to it.
Aussie MC will be back after the NZ one.

followed by the UK one, perhaps!

bedazzledjewels, Feb 10, 9:37pm
Now that would be good.

iman007, Feb 10, 9:56pm
aussie one as well.nuts!
way too many cooking programmes on at the moment, overkill

bedazzledjewels, Feb 10, 10:02pm
If you want to see a real cooking contest, watch the final of UK Professionals Masterchef on TV1 on Saturday - about 1pm.
These are already professional chefs and they're quite something. Down to the final 3.

sarahb5, Feb 10, 10:40pm
I had dinner with and talked to my family instead - TV off

sarahb5, Feb 10, 10:41pm
And I would watch it too!Too much fluff in the NZ and Aussie versions

strebor1, Feb 10, 10:57pm
We have such great fresh ingredients in this Country, I really hope the contestants make the most of them, like the judges want them to.If they do, they are half way there.

pickles7, Feb 10, 11:04pm
same.trashy shows, at that.

rainrain1, Feb 10, 11:21pm
Nothing quite like a good bit of kiwi fluff

strebor1, Feb 10, 11:31pm
Well I guess we could have cops and robbers all night, I for one enjoy cooking shows, having been in the food business.

uli, Feb 11, 1:21am
Why do you not all (that are so "over it") simply sell your tv!
Or give it to the hospital or the hospice!

No more problems and you will have so much more time to cook, preserve and give us recipes here on TM etc.

sarahb5, Feb 11, 2:01am
Nothing to do with whether it's kiwi, Australian or from Outer Mongolia - if I'm watching a cooking show I want to watch them cooking not living together playing nicey-picey - too much reality TV, not enough cooking

rainrain1, Feb 11, 12:16pm
whatever floats your melons .Go the kiwi masterchefs!

vintagekitty, Feb 11, 3:26pm
A series has to be very good to keep me following it, as I tend to stop after a few episodes, mind you im not a big telly watcher anyway. I think the format is boring now, we all know the underdog gets through until the last few episodes and then gets knocked out by the most marketable contestant.

bedazzledjewels, Feb 11, 4:16pm
In a nutshell VK. But it's still quite fun!

esther-anne, Feb 11, 4:17pm
Feel free to let 'them' know then!

vintagekitty, Feb 11, 4:24pm
you should have entered!

uli, Feb 11, 7:24pm
Joke of the year - when bedazz says on her blog that she is no cook :)

bedazzledjewels, Feb 11, 9:18pm
Exactly - completely agree with you there Uli.My cooking is definitely in need to practice, hence the blog.
Maybe VK could have brought some of her southern charm to the show.

vintagekitty, Feb 11, 9:54pm
no charm, I am from Auckland

uli, Feb 12, 1:52am
JAFA then!

tinkagirl, Feb 12, 2:42am
yes I agree, infact I was really pissed off with the first show when that idiot brett (think that is his name, cant stand him so not sure) won
when he continually made mistakes even on the final show.

strebor1, Feb 12, 2:53am
Yes I have to agree, and couldn't understand why he won. His food is so basic even now.

uli, Feb 12, 9:07pm
Why did you think it would get less 'basic' after a year or too! LOL :)
