Where to buy in Christchurch! Metal with lid that seals with a couple of sliding clips. Have lost old faithful in the EQ shifting etc. Will probably find it tomorrow!

You can use a glass pudding bowl , tied with baking paper, until your one turns up.

i have found the best and cheapest pudding steamers here on tm. just search for pudding basin you can get a 2L one for about 20 bucks i love mine

I use a mixing bowl (metal) with rim cover with tin foil and it works a treat

The one you are describing is an excellent pudding steamer. It is NZ made and is made in Dunedin by Dunedin Stainless Steel. You should be able to get one from Ballantynes.

K-Mart has them for about $10.Great size and non stick.
