Yummy interesting savoury ideas.

Im currently cooking for workers and need some recipes for their hot morning smoko, they heat them up at work. I make things like pizza, cheese, rolls, toasties etc but could do with some new ideas, I don't want it to get boring, any suggestions appreciated, thanks :)

Breadcases, fillings could be mince with potato on top;sweetcorn cheese bacon and tomato;smoked fish.Sausage rolls, savoury/sweet muffins.

Cut the top off & hollow out crusty bread rolls, crack an egg into each one (you can add a little precooked bacon or ham too & a little tomato relish if you like), season, put the top back on and bake until the egg has set.

Yes you can cranberry12.
Put the additions into the bread roll first then crack the egg over them.
You can also grate a little cheese over the egg if you like & bake them with the lid on the side.

Wagon Wheel Biscuits - a scone mixture rolled like a swiss roll with sausage and cheese in the middle.

1/4 cup butter
2 cups self raising flour
1 cup buttermilk
500 gm sausage meat
3/4 cup grated cheese
Some finely chopped herbs (optional)

Put the flour and butter into your food processor and process until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs. Tip mixture into a bowl and add buttermilk, mix then turn out onto a floured surface. Knead for about a half minute. Roll out to a piece about 12” x 9”. Spread the sausage meat onto dough then the grated cheese and herbs. Roll up then chill.

Cut into 1/2” slices and bake cut side down on a paper lined baking tray in a 200 deg C oven until lightly browned.

Relish and Bacon Pinwheel Scones

Preheat oven 240dC.line tray with baking paper.
Make scone dough with 3 cups selfraising flour
1/2 tsp salt,
50 grams butter diced,
1+1/4 cups milk,
1/2 to 3/4 cup relish,
3-4 rashers bacon diced,
1 cup grated cheese.

Sift flour and salt into large bowl, rub in butter, using a knife mix quickly with the milk, Turn onto lightly floured board and bring together. Roll out to 25X35cm rectangle. Spread with relish, sprinkle bacon and cheese over, then roll up long edge to long edge. Cut into 2cm wide slices and bake 15 min, or until well risen and golden. when the centre pinwheel is split open it should light and well cooked, not doughy
