I have an idea to make meat loaf but how on earth do I make it! The one with sausage meat and mince, think an egg goes in and maybe bread crumbs but not sure Thanks
I throw in everything. Sausage meat, mince meat, an egg, breadcrumbs, tom sauce, or any sauce I have. oxo cube or packet gravy. chopped onion, grated carrot, courgette. Curry powder, mixed herbs. I mould mine into a long fat sausage shape in a roasting dish and bake. Or cook it in a large cow pat shape in the electric frying pan. This is one of my kids favourites.You cant go wrong, give anything a go.

My basics are mince, sausage meat, egg and onion. I use rolled oats instead of breadcrumbs and anything else goes. I cook it in miniloaf tins and if I have some mixture left, that goes into muffin tins. As there is only me, they get frozen until required. My grandson thinks having his own loaf is great.
