Looking for all Round dressing marinade, try this,

Called "The Potion"

1 tsp raw sugar
1 tsp mustard
2 to 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
salt and pepper
1 quarter cup vinegar - I use a mix of balsamic and white wine vinegar
3 quarters of a cup olive oil

Mix, shake, serve and enjoy.

This can be used as a dressing for salads or any cold vege dishes.

Great when drizzled over those bigger flat type mushrooms then baking the mushrooms for about 20 to 30 minutes at 180c,
or a nice cold cooked mushroom salad mix, or even on left-over meals eaten cold the next day as lunches etc.

Also great on some baked salmon as a rub and when served on salad greens. plus others but really is a great all-rounder.

Cheers

Sounds good.

It reminded me to have a look at Julie leClerc recipe for roasted mushrooms using raspberry balsalmic vinegar.

Now what happens if I go to make it and don't have any raw sugar in the cupboard!

Use brown sugar

I have used soft brown sugar an even used castor sugar on one occasion just as the Asians used in their various marinades but raw or brown works best.

Cheers.
