Yes, turn crockpot up to hight for half an hour. Pop in dumplings and cook for another half an hour on high till cooked. I did this last week, they were perfect. Took longer than on top of stew on the stove though.

I keep the lid on. Lose too much heat otherwise.

Definitely - try not to lift the lid to look at them. It needs the heat build up to cook the dumplings

Many thanks - lid on it is - hubby loves dumplings!(Proper ones though - good for his cholesterol!)
