180 or 170 fan forced oven. Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes with electric mixture. Then stir in boiling water. The mixture will be very runny. Bake for aprox 50 mins or until skewer comes out clean. Suits a large round or square cake tin.

This is the Anchor chocoholics chocolate cake that used to be on the butter wrapper - very easy, makes a huge moist and dense cake which could also be served warm with custard as a yummy dessert:
Ingredients: 125 g Anchor Butter, softened -(5 0z) 3/4 c Castor Sugar 2 Eggs 1 ts Vanilla Essence 1/2 c Raspberry Jam 1-1/4 c Flour 1 ts Baking Powder 1/2 c Cocoa 1 ts Baking Soda 1 c Milk, warmed 1/2 c Chocolate Chips
Instructions: Grease & line a 22cm round cake tin. Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla essence & jam. Sift flour, baking powder & cocoa. Dissolve soda in milk. Fold dry ingredients & milk alternately into butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon into tin. Bake at 180C (350F) for 45 minutes. When cold, spread with chocolate icing.

No Eggs, Butter, Milk, Dark, Moist Choc Cake
This is a really great recipe. As the title suggests there is no butter, eggs or milk used.
I dare you to try it and not add it to your recipe book or never bake it again.
1 cup of sugar, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 1.1/2 cups SR flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1 cup cold water, 1/2 cup cooking oil, 2 Tbsp vinegar. Mix all dry ingredients together thoroughly, mix water and oil togeather and add to dry ingredients. Stir well then add vinegar, stir till vinegar is mixed in. Bake in paper lined 20cm tin at 180 degrees for 30 mins or until cooked. I have a large family so multiply the recipe by 3 and cook in a small roasting dish or by 4 and cook in a large roasting dish. Don't forget to line with paper. Ice when cold with choc icing. I'll never use another choc cake recipe. this one is too easy.
i really do suggest to try this one , i am gob smacked as to how easy and how dam delishious it is ,

Mine is same as this apart from the boiling water, I use a strong cup of coffee, espresso or such, gives it a deep rich colour and flavour.
