Mr13 wants to make mince pies tomorrow, has anyone got a tasty mince pie filling recioe, thanks

When I make my mince pies in the pie maker I just brown the mince in a frying pan then add a packet of Maggi Brown Onion Gravy Mix & some water. Simmer for an hour & let it cool a little before adding to the pastry base in the piemaker. Put the pastry top on & cook for 10mins. (I cheat & use the ready rolled puff pastry).

I make nacho mince and make the pie the same way - a sprinkle of cheese, add the mince and make a hole in the middle. Fill with sour cream! HEaven! The sour cream firms up and is so lovely. Use grainy or wheatmeal bread.
