Carrot mousse . help pls

poolgirl6, Apr 3, 8:28am
Have the recipe for carrot mousse, cooked in a bain marie, but the recipe does not state how hot the oven should be.Mousse is pureed carrots, eggs and cream cooked in moulds.Cook for about 30 mins, until set.

Any suggestions for oven temperature please!

poolgirl6, my gut instinct was to suggest 180ºC, however to double check I did a google search and found firstly a recipe with no given oven temperature (maybe it's the recipe you're using!) but on looking further I found another recipe at:-
http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv2/bhcrecipes.nsf/pages/Carrotmousse!open The recipe on that link uses a bain-marie and an oven temperature of 180ºC.:-))
Edited to add the link to the first recipe I looked at-

Many thanks, was also searching for some clues elsewhere, Was almost going to settle for a carrot soup instead, to use the puree. Always grateful for your assistance and willingness to find the best solutions to our queries on here.
