This one leelee79! - it's from "Alison Holst's Bread Book" by Simon & Alison Holst (1997) and justin case anyone would like to make the bread by hand I'll include the Handmade Bread Instructions as well.
“OUR FAVOURITE WHITE BREAD” Makes a large loaf (7-8 cup pan).
3 tsp Sure bake yeast 1¼ cups plus 2 tbsp warm water 2 tbsp lecithin granulesoroil 2tsp sugar 1½ tsp salt 2 tbsp non-fat milk powder 3 cups high grade flour
Bread Machine Instructions:Carefully measure all the ingredients into a 750g capacity bread machine, in the order specified by the manufacturer. Set to the NORMAL/WHITE bread cycle, MEDIUM crust and START (or use the DOUGH cycle and shape and bake by hand). This is a very good timer bread.
Handmade Bread Instructions: Measure the first 6 ingredients into a large bowl. Add 1½ cups of the measured high grade flour and mix thoroughly.Cover and leave for 15 minutes or longer in a warm place. Stir in the remaining flour, adding a little extra warm water or high grade flour if necessary, to make a dough just firm enough to knead. Knead with the dough hook of an electric mixer or by hand on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes, adding extra flour if necessary, until the dough forms a soft ball which springs back when pressed gently. Turn the dough in 2-3 tsp oil in the cleaned, dry bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm draught-free place for about 30 minutes. Knead the oiled dough lightly in the bowl for a minute, then pat it into a square a little longer than the baking pan. Roll dough into a cylinder, then put into the sprayed or buttered bread pan, pressing it into the corners and levelling the top. Leave to rise, in a warm, draught-free place for about an hour, or until double its original size. If desired, brush with milk or egg glaze and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at200°Cforabout 30 minutes, or until the unmoulded loaf has a browned bottom and sides and sounds hollow when tapped.:-))
