Help please.almond meal?

Daughter got a cookie maker set and we just got it out to do some baking and the main recipe requires almond meal. I've never heard of it, is it easily found at the supermarket or can I substitute it with something else from my cupboard! TIA

Yes you can get it at the supermarket, from the bulk bins. Or Bin Inn. Its just ground almonds. Yum!

It is in the supermarket in the baking isle where the nuts, cocnut and small packets of stuff is. They should also have a big packet under the small packet racks

It's as very_hotpants has said. I buy it regularly and it's not too badly priced for the use I get from it. Between $3 and $4 a packet.

I make my own as I need it by grinding almonds in my coffee mill, kept especially for grinding nuts, works out way cheaper than buying it.
