We are on puddings for Christmas Lunch and we are doing little pavs with whipped cream (with a touch oficing sugar and vanilla bean paste in it), fresh berry compote. but I feel its lacking something ! Any suggestions!

An obvious hot option is the traditional Plum Duff with brandy butter or brandy sauce - or use rum if that is preferred and/or more readily available, but what ages are you providing for nanberrie, and are you having both cold and hot desserts or cold only!:-))

Chestnut Tourinois. Pureed chestnuts, butter, sugar, chocolate, orange juice and zest and Grand Marnier or Cointreau!

Fresh fruit salad or lge pottle of Yoghurt, add pkt frozen mixed berries, mix & chill. Serve with small meringues & Choc flake on top

Trifle - you could make individual ones in glasses if you prefer,Sponge, Tinned boysenberries, pears - boysenberry jelly, custard and cream.Yum
