last!I have about a kilo of mixed fruit stored in an airtight container in my pantry.Its been in there a year maybe more.Looks ok apart from a bit sugary.Do you think it's ok to use!

it will be fine. I would use it. sniff it to see it has not gone fermenty, and then again there is the old saying "if in doubt,chuck it out", but as I said I would use it.

I just purchased some. It had just been put on the warehouse shelf for purchase. It had a fifteen month best before date.
When I doubt I used my eyes and nose to decide. Most likely to pass that 'test' and I would use it

If it looks very dry, i would sit it in boiling water for a while to swell up again before draining and soaking in Brandy

Next year, if you have a spare pack, pop it in the freezer.
