Do you do this as soon as it comes out of the oven - or the next day when the cake has cooled?Confusing!
I used a recipe off the back of Edmonds High Grade Flour pack.No mention of brandy, but I would like to pour some over!

After the cake has cooled poke some holes in it with a toothpick and drizzle the brandy over. After a couple of days turn the cake over and do the other side.Repeat this process till Christmas day.I would usually recommend doing this only once a week but there isn't time!

You should pour over brandy as soon as the cake comes out of the oven and then do as parkvale has said above :)

Don't omit to pour some brandy down your throat to help deal with the confusion (or possibly cause more).
