I was terribly short of veges the other night, only celery and carrots left so I did a white sauce but with a liberal sprinkling of parsley and the celery and carrots in the microwave, then combined them on the plate. It was very nice, I was so surprised.
Anyone else like this!

My mam back home in Ireland always makes celery in white sauce as part of the sunday roast.Havn't seen it to much in this part of the world and my husband had never had it until he met me.It's lovely isnt it!If only I could find decent cabbage here to have with my roast,I'd be in heaven.
