Would you cook a roast pork that has a best before

Great, I didnt have a full on fondle of it, but no was not slimy. I googled it and they (google) said 1-2 days. Was thinking "great, what a waste of $35".

Best before does NOT mean Use By.

True, but depending on what the item is I would be very very cautious, especially with chicken and pork.
