Well the lemon and sugar thing works. I took a couple of cups out for dinner and tried it just using the small amount and it certainly works.mackenzie potato will absorb salt but I dont think it would be the same for pepper.

Is there anything I can add or do to it! It tastes nice but then the pepper kicks in. A large pot full.

samsnan, I can't help you from personal experience but a likely solution from the following website would seem to be some lemon (or lime).have a look at:-
