Too much pepper in my bacon hock soup

Is there anything I can add or do to it? It tastes nice but then the pepper kicks in. A large pot full.

What a great site 245sam I will try that and let you know tomorrow if it works. Its for a staff lunch tomorrow and I dont really want to choke them.

Well the lemon and sugar thing works. I took a couple of cups out for dinner and tried it just using the small amount and it certainly works.mackenzie potato will absorb salt but I dont think it would be the same for pepper.
