About 15-20 years ago i used to visit a restaurant in Queens Drive Lower Hutt called Charlie Browns, & they had the nicest sauce to go over a pepper steak. The chef wouldnt devulge the recipe, although i have often wondered if it was some how made up of peppercorns & cream & other things, does anyone know how or what that recipe was? ? ?

Peppercorns - grounf black ones or tinned ones, cream and brandy or sherry, salt. Reduce in pan. Yum!
