hi every one -is it ok to eat freezer burn meat.if someone can help that would be great

Thread on this recently. Fine to eat, just cut away. It's caused from not being correctly wrapped & air has entered.

Go into Message Board (left of the screen).Into the Keyword heading, type Freezer burn, and then in the Date Posted heading, typeAnytime.Browse the threads, and you will see correct and informative answers to your query.Freezer burndoesn't necessarily mean that food is off.Others will step in here and give you more expert opinions, but in the meantime, I hope this helps. Apparently it's harmless but i cut it off before cooking. Unless its really badly burnt, then I wouldn't use it. But I doubt it would hurt you. It just loses flavour and/or is dry.
