yes the rice worried me to start with, but thinking, If heated on a hot heat and only heated once, should be ok

Aboslutely will freeze. If left too long rice can tend to get freezer burn though

I freeze cooked rice all the time and its fine when re heated

Great! I put the leftovers in the freezer - I only had a big container for it, but Mr Spoeklet said he can eat that amount in one sitting - LOL
