you know the asian one. i'm allegic to fish and a bit wary of using it, although i do eat out at thai restaurants and never had a problem. so just wondered if it can be replaced with something else.

A good soya sauce. I use kikkoman after years of using the cheap ones and dont regret it. Its the best!!

Light soy sauce is the best substitute.Golden Boy is a good brand.Use a little less because light soy is saltier than fish sauce.

thanks you guys....that's great to know. might try both those brands. i usually just use highmark.
