Self raising wholemeal flour - substuting baking p I have a recipe book that has recipes using s-r wholemeal flour, which I have never seen on sale here.Any suggestions on how much b-powder I should add per cup of wholemeal flour please?I was thinking 2 tsp per cup - would that be about right? Banana cake with wholemeal flour? Does anyone have an easy-peasy recipe for banana cake with wholemeal flour, or can you just sub the white flour with the wholemeal? Also can you leave out the baking soda 'cos I always seem to be able to taste it, lol? |
